Tonja, Patient Care Coordinator
Tonja moved to Austin in 2020 from Nacogdoches, the Pineywoods of Texas. She has passionately worked in the dental field for 16 years. Helping patients have a pleasant experience is what makes her days fulfilling and enjoyable. She truly enjoys navigating patients through their dental journey. Tonja is also our resident festivity captain! The 512 Smiles team is grateful to have someone who enjoys making holidays at the office memorable. In her time away from the office, she loves to spend time with her husband, son and daughter.
Angelika, Dental Hygienist
Angelika’s passion for dentistry has been a constant in her life! She was awarded her DDS and practiced dentistry for 5 years! She noticed the important role bone and gum health played on an individuals' overall well-being, and decided to dedicate her career to it. When you are a patient of Angelika’s, you will certainly have an educational visit. She truly enjoys helping patients become and stay healthy, and will always spend the extra time to review anything that could improve your oral health, no matter how seemingly small.
Sarah, Dental Hygienist
With over 10 years of experience, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice. Sarah is known for her thoroughness coupled with her caring and gentle bedside manner. She will always take the necessary time to make you feel comfortable and answer any questions you might have. Sarah enjoys staying up to date on advances in hygiene in order to provide the best care possible to her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and fur-babies!
Arlette, Registered Dental Assistant
Arlette’s passion for dentistry is deeply rooted. In Venezuela, Arlette received her DDS degree in 2001 from Santa Maria University, where she practiced as a dentist for 17 years. In 2019, she moved to the USA and has worked in Miami and Austin as a dental assistant and surgical assistant. Arlette decided to get back to her true passion, general dentistry, by joining 512 Smiles. With her background as a dentist, Arlette is able to provide a level of care that her patients truly appreciate. Arlette has enjoyed 512 Smiles and being surrounded by caring and professional team members and doctors.
In her spare time, Arlette enjoys art and nature, gathering with friends and family, and exploring Austin. She is incredibly grateful to live in Austin, Texas with her husband and daughter.
Hailey, Registered Dental Assistant
Hailey has an incredible passion for the field of dentistry. Although she has been assisting for two years, you’d never know it. Her bedside manner and depth of knowledge highlight her love for dentistry and helping her patients. You’ll find that when you are with Hailey, she will take care to ensure you are comfortable and that all your questions are answered. Her desire to help doesn’t end with patients; She is always around to help her team and brings an incredibly positive energy to our office. Hailey moved to Austin in 2022 with her boyfriend, 2 cats, 3 dogs and 40 house plants! In her spare time, she enjoys baking and paddleboarding.
Porter, Professional Greeter, Licensed Nap Expert
Porter's love for people (and dogs) will surely leave anyone who meets him smiling and dreaming of more snuggles! He has aspirations to take his canine good citizen exam and start the path to becoming a licensed therapy dog! When he's not at work, you can find him playing with his toys, romping in an open field, people-watching, or taking his 10th nap of the day.
