Whether you require additional time to discuss your oral health goals or a unique approach to ease anxiety, we are here to provide you with personalized, custom care. Our team will ensure you arrive and leave feeling comfortable and confident. We love what we do!
First Patient Visit
Your initial visit will start with a conversation. Our clinical team will review your health history, dental history and any specific concerns you might have.
We will take records including X-rays, photos, and a 3d scan if needed, which will be used to complete a thorough comprehensive evaluation and oral cancer screening.
You will have time to discuss, in detail, any findings, recommendations, and options. You will have an opportunity to have all your questions answered until you feel confident and have a full understanding of your oral health.
Your healthy mouth cleaning will be scheduled immediately after or at another time that works best for you.
Should any treatment be recommended, we will provide you with a written estimate of all charges prior to providing any care. Our Patient Care Coordinator will walk you through any financial and/or insurance questions you may have.
TMJ Consultation
Your TMJ journey with our office will typically include two visits.
Your initial visit will be an evaluation. Our doctors will spend time learning about your concerns, performing an examination and reviewing your TMJ health.
Your second visit will be a consultation, during which we will review any records and imaging that have been taken, along with treatment options.
Records that are often required in order to provide a complete and thorough consultation may include:
- Models of your teeth
- Accurate records of your bite and jaw relationship
- CBCT (3D image of your TMJ)
- MRI
If necessary, you may require a referral to an MRI center and/or oral surgeon.
PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT, PLEASE SET ASIDE 10-15 MINUTES TO COMPLETE YOUR NEW PATIENT PAPERWORK. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK, PLEASE ARRIVE 15-20 MINUTES EARLY. IF YOU HAVE ANY RECENT DENTAL IMAGING, PLEASE FORWARD TO OFFICE@512SMILES.COM before your visit.
