Tooth Extractions
A tooth extraction can be required for many reasons: Trauma, Crowded teeth, wisdom teeth, infection, decay and/or gum disease. Having an extraction can be scary and intimidating for most. Our wonderful team at 512 Smiles will ensure you are comfortable before, during and after your visit. We will do everything we can to make the experience as painless and stress-free as possible.

Bone Graft
A Bone Graft may be recommended to help preserve the bone where a tooth is extracted. This may be recommended in order to help support the remaining teeth around the missing tooth and/or to preserve the bone for future implant placement. Our doctors will review this in detail during your visit to ensure you understand all of your options before any treatment is completed.
Implants
Implants are a wonderful option to replace missing teeth. The first step is to complete an examination and take a 3D image to evaluate your bone quality for implant placement. Our office is equipped with a CBCT which can be taken and evaluated during your visit. During your evaluation, our doctors will review the process in detail so that you are not left with any lingering questions.
If you are a candidate for implants, we will review the process and treatment in detail prior to performing any procedures.
On your procedure day, you will have an implant placed. Over the course of a few months, the jaw and implant will begin to fuse as one. This is what gives the implant its foundation and strength. Once this has completely healed, the next step will involve placing the abutment and crown onto the implant.
